Smart-T sensors measure air temperature and air humidity and record the data every 1 to 60 sec. They use the cyclist’s smartphone for time stamp and for geolocation.

  • Reproducibility: 0.05o C for temperature and 0.3% for relative humidity
  • Time response: 10 s for temperature and 20 s for relative humidity
  • Radiation error: ~0.05o C under solar radiation of 300 W m-2¬†at normal biking speed; error unknown in stationary mode¬†
  • Battery life: over 6 months (Panasonic CR2032 button battery)
